A present can mean
so much more.
For a child, a gift is something to look forward to. Something chosen with them in mind. A little reminder that they matter.
Yet some families are facing Christmas knowing there simply isn’t enough left for presents. Cash for Kids’ Mission Christmas helps children who might otherwise wake up with nothing to open.
We want our community to help change that. Every pin and every extra contribution brings us closer to filling our trolleys with gifts.
A note from Joanne
This one is
close to my heart.
As a mum to four boys and a stepdaughter, I know how much Christmas means to children. The excitement in the run-up, the little traditions, and their faces when they have something to open.
Thinking of a child missing out on that is heartbreaking. I’m so passionate about this appeal because I want as many children as possible to feel that same joy.
Jordan and I have pledged £5,000 through Joanne’s Journals. And we’ll be taking you with us as we collect the donations, go shopping for the gifts and deliver them to Cash for Kids HQ.

A few things you might
like to know.
Where does my money go?
The full £5 from each pin, plus extra donations, goes into Joanne’s Journals’ Christmas gift fund. We will use it to buy gifts and deliver them to Cash for Kids HQ for Mission Christmas. The total above shows money raised for that purpose, rather than gifts already handed over.
Are Joanne and Jordan donating too?
Yes. Joanne’s Journals has pledged £5,000 towards our £10,000 target. This pledge is included in the progress total alongside paid pin purchases and extra donations.
How is the fundraising total calculated?
We count £5 for each paid pin, plus extra donations and Joanne’s Journals’ £5,000 pledge. Product refunds are deducted. The total is checked against Shopify orders on an hourly schedule and shows the time of the latest successful update. Shipping charges and unrelated products are not included.
When will my pin arrive?
The charity pin is a pre-order and will be dispatched in October. Your pin delivery is separate from our Christmas gift shopping and handover to Cash for Kids.
Can I follow the gift shopping and delivery?
Absolutely. We’ll be recording the journey from collecting contributions to choosing the gifts, packing them and delivering them to Cash for Kids HQ. We’ll share updates here and on our social channels.
Why does the appeal close on 30 November?
Our fundraising target date is 30 November 2026 so we have time to buy and deliver the gifts before Christmas. It is the deadline for our Joanne’s Journals appeal; Cash for Kids runs its own Mission Christmas timetable.
